Great photo! I think that is the first SAAB aircraft that I have seen so far. Cars, yes. Aircraft are a surprize.
Beauty. Rolls Royces even
@Alan Brown, check out this SAAB: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saab_JAS_39_Gripen#/media/File:Saab_JAS_39_Gripen_at_Kaivopuisto_Air_Show,_June_2017_(altered)_copy.jpg
The SAAB logo from 1937 to 1969 included a head-on likeness of a twin-engine prop. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.
Nice simple livery. I like it.
Great comment kpeex. I was familiar with Saab aerospace pedigree but not the emblem. Impossible to unsee now.
Nice pic. I think American Eagle flew Saab 340.
@Alan Brown--->Saab, "Svenska Aeroplan Aktiebolaget" (Swedish for "Swedish aeroplane corporation"), a Swedish aerospace and defence company, was created in 1937 in Linköping. The car brand is currently owned by Dutch Spyker Cars.
WOW... Nice image... I remember those, but have not seen one in Decades!
