Douglas DC-3 (LN-WND)
Comments
What's with the British rondels but Norwegian flags/tail blaze?
Paul Wisgerhof - It likely has much to do with the reigning monarch of Norway, King Haakon, along with the Norwegian government, fleeing and taking refuge in the Rotherhithe part of London during WWII. This, of course, following the German invasion and occupation of Norway in 1940. There, King Haakon led a government in exile and the Free Norwegian Forces, which included the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
Here's a little more info about this plane and it's markings.
