McDonnell Douglas DC-8-60 (N818AX) - KSJC - early.mid 1990s before SJIA officials screwed up the airport, blocking this view from the parking structure -with the then new Intl Terminal- Airborne Express DC-8-63"LD" rolling to Cargo ramp by the old San Jose Tower - this back when SJC would or could have as many as 5 DC-8 Cargos on the ramp and north cargo ramp also. This jet delv new to KLM in August 1969, then IcelandAir flew this jet 1985, until Hawaiian Airlines took this for airliner service in 1990. Airborne Express then converted this jet to cargo in 1993 and seen here at San Jose on the early AM freighter arrivals at about 06:45am.
