Excellent experience. Had an alternator failure enroute from Daytona Beach to Manassas. Diverted to KFLO. The personnel at Florance Aviation could not have been better. Since it was a Saturday, they helped arrange a rental car and on Monday Maurice had the problem diagnosed(bad alternator) and installed a new one. We returned on Thursday, the airplane was in the cool hanger with the alternator working perfectly. I highly recommend Florance Aviation and will be stopping there again. Cessna Centurion |

Terrific customer service! On a routine IFR flight home from the NC Coast on a Friday afternoon, my alternator failed and I diverted to FLO. As soon as I parked and shut down I was met by Emily Johnson, Precision's Administrative Assistant, who promptly prepared my work order and had the shop start work. Corey Gibson (A&P) diagnosed and repaired a corroded wiring connection (the alternator itself turned out to be fine) and I was back in the air in less than two hours! Friendly, courteous and very helpful staff; they went out of their way to help. Emily even made coffee for me! Price for the repair was very reasonable and much cheaper than a rental car to drive home! Piper Cherokee |

I am a frequent visitor late at night, it is comforting to know Chris is always waiting, quick to serve, friendly and efficient. A great attitude goes a long way. My last visit I was on the ils, chris clicked on the approach lights for me before i brokeout, apparently i mis-"clicked". He also drove me to the hotel. Truly 5 star service! While we originally intended a brief stop at KFLO a faulty starter our Skyhawk forced us to extend our stay. Although the circumstances were not great, the staff at the FBO could not have been more helpful. The arranged for a local mechanic to look at our plane, made a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant (and pointed us to the crew car) and even made a fresh pot of coffee while we waited.
While the pilot lounge is a little dated, the furniture is comfortable and there is plenty of room to stretch out. Both Chris and the other fellow on duty (did not get his name) were super friendly and accommodating.
