I earned my private pilot’s license with Midwest Corporate Air in 2005 during my senior year of high school. Later in 2010, I also earned my instrument and commercial ratings with them. Despite being an aviation management major at Ohio State, I chose to do all of flight training with MCA , because I knew from experience that Midwest Corporate Air had the most superior flight school in the area. My flight instructors Mr. Ben Gaertner and Mr. Steve and Dustin Buchenroth were outstanding flight instructors and aviation mentors to me outside the cockpit. All of them were extremely knowledgeable instructors who enjoyed teaching. Not only were they very talented instructors, but they made it obvious they cared for me as a student as they placed a heavy emphasis on safety and solid aeronautical decision making. I’ll also that the other workers at Midwest Corporate Air, in particular John Watkins, also contributed to me having an exceptional flight training experience.
