Stopped here for the jump-off to a 3 day hunt in TX. Bennie was spectacular. He couldn't have been more helpful.
When I asked him about hangar space, he explained that his tow-head wouldn't fit the dual nose wheel on a Piaggio, so we decided to take our chances. Next day at 4 pm I had cell service in the hunting field and checked the weather. Sure enough, severe storms and hail due that night. It was too late for me to get back and reposition, so we crossed our fingers.
No need for luck. Benny left a message on my phone an hour later that he'd gotten the plane into the hangar. What kind of service is that?!!!
Paul was just as gracious when we left on Monday morning.
Then there's Enterprise RAC. I had called in advance and asked them to deliver as big a vehicle as possible, preferably a pickup. Waiting for me was a crew cab, F250 diesel 4X4!!! $89 per night!
