Hey Cliff, no problem! I love aviation just as much as you guys do! It makes me pumped too that there is still one flying!!
Cliff -- I had not seen this pic. It's a great catch, Grant! ***** capture! There was an IFL 722 here just two weeks ago - and I missed it! On the day it was here, I had been out of the area spotting at SMF and I was returning thru Reno headed back home. Didn't know it was tucked in a corner of the ramp - drove right past the airport enroute back home - never saw it back there. Found out that evening, but it was too late; it departed before I could get back there. So 5 stars for the catch, Grant, and very sincere Thanks for sharing the shot with us. Well done!
Gary and Grant - Thanks for the good words!!! Gary - I'm sorry you missed that one, but looks like Grant captured one at KTYS. Might be the same one you had at your KRNO airport? (Regrettably there's no flight history showing here.)
Excellent catch and picture, Grant. Appears to be a super 727 with the -217 engines (Mad Dog engines) on the pylons. 5*
Thanks guys, its awesome getting to talk to some aviation buffs like me!
