Piper Apache (N909PH)
Comments
Piper PA-23-160 Apache
A superb photo capture... "5" stars!
This Apache was produced sometime between late 1958 and mid-1962. Powered by 160hp Lycoming engines, seated four or six depending on owner's choice. One of the first mass produced light twins on the general aviation market.
Thank you Paul Wisgerhof for the Expl......
AKA, the flying sweet potato.
Looks like a cherry restoration. Dismal single engine performance. Only about 8" prop clearance on a paved surface. Soft grass only for the brave.
Thank you again Paul. Useful explanation.
