Airbus A330-200 (EI-EJM)

We'll NEVER see one of these by us ... NEVER! Fillin' all five ....
(And BTW, the airport folks here at RNO announced the start of a full terminal reconstruction. I got all stoked ... UNTIL I heard the end result. Both existing concourses will be remodeled and a third one built. That I already knew. Sounded good ... BUT .... The project will be completed seven years from now, in 2029. And after all that time, the airport will have expanded the number of gates from the current 26 -- to -- (wait for it) --- 29! I almost fell off the couch. Three additional gates! The second largest airport in the entire state of Nevada is going to wait seven years to get just three additional gates! The new terminal will be obsolete two or more years before it even opens. Even right now, on any given morning at 5:30 AM there are two or three commercial pax birds shoved off to the edge of the terminal apron because all 26 gates are full of jets that have RONed here. So in seven years, IF there is ZERO number of additional commercial flights added between now and then, every RON bird will have a real live gate to park at. Oh BOY! And the plans for expanding the parking lot capacity are equally "ambitious." When the parking lot is finished, the car capacity will have been expanded to make 700 new spaces. 700?? When I first heard the news guy say it, I had to stop the TV and back it up to replay it to be certain I heard it correctly. And when the news story ended, I could only sit there and laugh. The guy reporting the story made it sound like such a monstrous project. Be still my hammering heart - I'm SO excited -- three new gates and SEVEN HUNDRED new parking spaces -- and we only have to wait seven years. Geesh! Reno -- the Biggest Little City with the Biggest Little Airport that has the Biggest Little Goals dreamed up by the Biggest Little Minds. And I'm now thinking that when it's all done, there STILL won't be a gate equipped with jetways that can service anything larger than A321s, A320s, B738s, etc.
So, D, it's looking like over the next decades I'll still be making road trips to KSFO, KLAX, KSEA, etc., to be able to snap anything like you have clicked above. So please keep 'em comin'.) (Wave) lol

Nice shot DD, got the Tailwind Caravan floatplane also, or possibly a TBM on a torp run :) 5*
