Beechcraft Super King Air 200 (N700NA)
I thought this was a fantastic shot of this 1994 Beech B200 Super King Air. It had just taken off from Atlanta's PDK executive airport. The lens I was using was a Canon 500mm F4 IS with a 2x extender, thereby effectively making it a 1000mm lens. In order to show motion on the propellers, I had to slow the shutter all the way down to 1/250. With a 1000mm focal length and a slow shutter, the odds on getting a clear image were pretty slim. Thankfully everything worked out perfectly and I got THE shot. I was using a Canon 5DSR body and the settings were 1/250 shutter, F8, ISO 250. Please check out my other aviation photography.
