This flight was operated for the RAAF to take army personnel to Melbourne to assist with policing the Covid-19 second wave outbreak around Melbourne. It had flown BRI-MEL-ADL-MEL-BRI and the following day BRI-MEL-BRI and I assume for the same reason.

When needed, Australian military charters regularly use HiFly A340s but it’s been awhile since one was last in Adelaide.
