Anybody else notice that the American flag to the right of "Panthers" is backwards, indicating distress? I wonder if it's a decal or was painted that way? LOL

skyhawkrg, the flags on US soldiers uniforms are backwards like this, represents "moving forward"...maybe same symbolism?

When a flag is on something like a plane, then the flag should "fly" correctly, as if it's on a flag pole with the union to the front on each side.
This flag is correct.

A flag (at least a US flag) flying upside down indicates distress. Sam and Jim are correct that the blue field should be to the front.

the flag on an aircraft used to mean it was certified to carry US Mail, I don't know if that's the case anymore...that's what ive been told by older pilots
