Robinson R-22 (N45329) - This is the first post of N45329 into the gallery.br /br /It belongs to a flight school based in Chino, California which is about a five minute flight away from Corona. The school actually used to be based at Corona but then they moved. Not this helicopter but another one belonging to the flight school was at Corona later in the day that I took this photo, practicing and somehow they scrapped the rotor on the ground. By the time I got there the investigation was almost over and they were getting ready to load it onto a trailer and take it away. No one was hurt in the accident and the only damage done to the helicopter was to the rotor. My guess would be that they just got caught by a gust of wind when they were attempting to land or takeoff and scrapped the rotor on the ground.
