Touching down 5-L on 07-25-22 bringing VP Harris to Indianapolis.

Nice airplane.
surprised Harris would fly in such an old plane :)
Boeing should have redeveloped the 757 instead of persisting with the 737MAX. The undercarriage alone shows it's a vastly more capable aircraft than the 737.
Alan Hume - I could not agree with you more. I think Boeing made to absolutely stupid decisions. Discontinuing the 757 and discontinuing the 717. Given the totality of their balance sheet, the best path for a new mid-market aircraft is to revive the 757 with new engines and updated wings. This would be far less costly than developing a new aircraft from a clean sheet. And while the 717 was based on a dated design, new engines and wings would have provided an alternative to the A220.
The 777X is an important aircraft for Boeing, but the real workhorses for airlines are the narrow-body aircraft.

I am really curious to know the thoughts about C-32A replacements. These aircraft are aging and won't last forever. Whether or not we like the people on board is immaterial. Two specific VIPs need access to secured aircraft 24/7/365. The VP and Secretary of State are on the road regularly.
