Thank you for an interesting photo with deer at the runway.
In South Africa we use Cheetahs to keep the wild animals away from the Air force runways that are next to nature reserves.

Thankk you, in Switzerland we use an special car ('Papamobil') with some kind of integrated tower for securing the runways on the military airfields. Chasing birds away with signal pistol and sound of predator birds via loudspeaker. But some animals knew too god that nobody wants to kill them on the field ;) The Papamobil is also visually checking if the landing aircrafts have extracted there wheels.
