Did an engine change on Bald Eagle back in the 90's... sheared a connecting rod and wiped out the crank case
Determined the cause was an earlier melted piston had dropped molten slag on the small end of the connecting rod and weakened it
Great capture definitely 5*
What a beautiful airplane. One of the best looking and performing on f it's time.
Nice shot...buffed aluminum with yellow and black...captures how respected and well maintained this A/C is
