Airbus A319 (N305NV)
This afternoon shot from the top of Rattlesnake Mountain caught AAY's N305NV passing by the former (see Note below) viewing area on the southwest corner of the RNO airport grounds as it was a mere 1000 feet from the beginning of runway 34L. The Allegiant flight was arriving from downstate (KLAS).

NOTE: The blue picnic table and benches visible in the lower left corner used to be a favorite place for people to sit and watch the aircraft activity at RNO. (FA Member Tom Vance, aka: "Alien," took many photos from that location, right, T? - Wave) After 9/11, the airport's perimeter fence was extended around the outside of those benches and tables in order to make that picnic area inaccessible today.
Love the angle and aspect Gary, because we outsiders can get a better appreciation of the surrounds. When you posted the 'looking down' pic of the Alaska B737 recently I got onto Google Maps to try to work out where the shot was taken. Found 'The Rattlesnake' but couldn't quite work out your shot. Your description with this now makes sense of it. Thank you.
