N20PV —
This 1944 Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon (N20PV / N20P) is seen here on display on the grounds of the Rowland Freedom Museum at Nut Tree Airport (KVCB) in Vacaville, CA.
Comments
The Rowland Freedom Center features aviation and military exhibits and is certainly worth a visit. One of the aircraft exhibits is the Biplane built by the Gonzales Brothers in 1912. The Jelly Belly Biplane is also there. A unique presentation of the Doolittle attack on Tokyo is already partially completed and the presentation is being expanded, and there are many other exhibits of aircraft and military (and military movie) artifacts and props. There is no admission fee but the displays are definitely worthy of voluntary donations by visitors to help pay expenses.
Very nice and a great shot to compliment it. Personal opinion - Lockheed's beautiful designs went so far back.
Very well-done Gary! Perfect lighting!
