BOEING 777-300ER (B-16703)
Climbing away from runway 24L, we pass over the very western end of KLAX and spot a nice variety of aircraft and airlines. In the center foreground is EVA's "Hello Kitty Sanrio Family" special livery B77W (B-16703). Straight up from it is an El Al (ELY) B772 (4X-ECE) and beyond that is a LAN Chile (LATAM Chile) B763 (CC-CWY). Also of interest are a pair of Virgin Australia B77Ws (VH-VPE and VH-VPH) in the upper right center of the shot and in the lower right, I only managed to get the tail portion of an Air Tahiti Nui (THT) A343 (F-OJGF) in this snap.

It was a thrill to capture such a variety of airlines (EVA Air, El Al, LAN/LATAM Chile, Southwest, Volaris, Alaska, Virgin Australia, Hong Kong, and Air Tahiti Nui) in one click. The fact that the EVA was a special paint made it even better.
Nice job, Gary!
Cade & Greg ... Many Thanx for the complis. Cade >> There were some clouds (they can be seen reflected on the engine housing) but they were thin and scattered until we got farther inland so the shots as we took off were indeed quite clear.
I haven't been to LAX since 2004. I didn't know they built a QANTAS building there? Great Calendar shot Gman!
NIce Job!
