Republican Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance is aboard "Trump Force Two" (N917XA) as it climbs away from Runway 17L after Vance's second campaign rally visit to Reno.
N917XA is chartered from Eastern Air Express (BBQ). In its 22 year history, this aircraft previously flew for Air Berlin, Orenair, Xtra Airways, Swift Air, Smartwings, and iAero Airways before being acquired by BBQ.

When Trump Force Two departed Reno three days ago, It was believed that this campaign visit by Vance, which had been the seventh 2024 Presidential Election visit to northern Nevada by various politicians campaigning for either the Trump-Vance ticket or the Harris-Walz ticket, would be the last such visit to this area before election day. However, as I was leaving KRNO after getting this photo, I was taken aside and quietly advised that there would be an eighth campaign visit. And late last night, the news was released that Air Force Two will be arriving next week with VPOTUS Harris here to hold a rally. So I was able to photograph Trump Force Two and next week I will get to photograph Air Force Two. Plus, prior to her visit, there will be military aircraft arriving here to deliver limos and other equipment. So my cameras will stay busy. lol

Finally, Cuz Jim in your viewfinder...A+ on the Trump Vance....just amazes me how many visits they had to RNO!
Great Shot. I am disappointed I never got to see this one in person.
