Cessna Citation CJ1 (N525WR)
This first photo of N525WR in the FlightAware picture gallery captures it only several feet off runway 16L with the wheels already tucked away in the wells as it departs KRNO for a very, VERY brief flight - just 8 minutes - to Reno Stead Airport (KRTS).

The pilot and I had exchanged waves as he taxied past my position next to the Juliet - Charlie intersection. I repositioned a bit to the north in hopes of catching him fairly low as he took off, but I need not have bothered .... he came blistering along 16L and went airborne .... and then delayed the climb. The tires were almost fully tucked away even as he came near, and he kept the Citation low and level as he went past. It was the perfect photo op -- wheels up and only a few feet off the deck. And then up it went. Reminded me of a Viper or a Hornet -- and every bit as beautiful.

Exactly my thoughts Gman_ every one is an Airshow hot dog - maybe a former F-18 driver??LOL!
