The VFA-31 "Tomcatters" CAG colorbird is about to land on NFL's 31L as it returns from an early afternoon training sortie.
The Tomcatters, the second oldest fighter squadron in the US Navy, are proudly celebrating their 85th anniversary (1935-2020). The words above "Felix the Cat" read, "Felix Stands The Watch."

"Felix" appears in two locations on this CAG bird. He is prominently in view on the tail, but he also appears on the fuselage just beneath the wing root.
