16-1190 — - I was snapping pics of the Navy TC-12B on its takeoff roll along Reno Tahoe Internationals runway 16L when the pilot radioed that he was rejecting. The Huron slowed and came to a stop, and the tower instructed the pilot to turn around and backtaxi back to the beginning of the runway. This shot captures the Huron as it is turning around. After taxiing back to the beginning of 16L, it departed with no problems about five minutes later. I caught its routine departure also. I never found out why the first take off was aborted.
