Hung around hoping the clouds would clear up before this one departed so I could get a snap in "less dismal" light, but no such luck. Then, about 60 minutes after "Blue Finest" took off on the return trip to Long Beach, the clouds finally moved away and the sun came out. Summer is almost here; however, so there will soon be plenty of sunny days and I'll get another opportunity.

That's still a pretty good shot!

Thanx, Greg. Crystal sharp / clear, but if the sun had been out that livery would have looked astounding against the city skyline. It will return here again, and everyone in our spotter's group knows I want a second chance, so they (especially an amazing gal called Calamity Jane -- she knows EVERYTHING about US airline a/c routings the instant they are filed) will track it and let me know, and I'll get it again soon.

Great Skyliner shot, the Finest Blue/Blue Finest and the American flag on the other tail make this a great shot Gman!
