Recently launched as a new airline based at Reno Tahoe International, aha (formerly Expressjet) is currently flying between RNO and KPSC, WA; KBFL, CA; KMFR, OR; KEUG, CA; KONT, CA; and KRDM, OR. Over the next couple of weeks, routes between KRNO and KACV, CA; KFAT, CA; KGEG, WA; and KPSP, CA, will be added.
The new airline's name, aha, is an acronym for a(ir), h(otel), a(dventure).
Added info -- N846HK previously wore Trans States titles and paint. Photos of it in Trans States livery are in the FA gallery.

Folded its tent and filed for bankruptcy on Aug 23, 2022. It was never a question of "if,' it was merely a question of "when.' As with numerous other instances in the past at RNO, the airport authority solicits the service routes but then does absolutely zilch to promote the service when an airline agrees to offer it. Delta, Allegiant, American, Frontier, and JSX have all received the exact same lack of support from the RTAA ... and all except JSX have tried and then dropped service routes. (JSX is the exception. Although it has received less than zero support from the RTAA, it is succeeding quite well here.) The RTAA honks its horn loudly when a new airline agrees to launch here (or when a current airline agrees to provide a new service route), but then does nothing to assist the airline in succeeding and stays totally silent when the new service (airline or route) fails (as in this instance). I have numerous photos taken over the last eight weeks of AHA fleet aircraft departing RNO completely empty. AHA never stood a chance of succeeding here at RNO.
