I was feeling quite nostalgic as I snapped this pic. In my teens, I would plop myself down right by the edge of the runway in the area just to the right of that jetBlue in the background. It was a fantastic position. The propliners (United Viscounts and DC-6Bs, Mohawk Convairs, American DC-6s and Electras, Allegheny propliners, etc.) would taxi right up there and do their runups (well, the Electras and Viscounts never did runups but the others did) and then move out on to 5 and take off. So when I was out on the airfield getting this shot, I could not help but have a wonderful memory flashback to those days. I'll always have a fond memory of the great times I used to spend at BUF.

Great photo, and isn't it good to have something that jogs the memory...and the mention of all those classic propliners. Wouldn't it be nice to see that sort of lineup again?
