Lockheed F-16 Fighting Falcon —
Six of the Thunderbirds taxi on Alpha toward our photo position between taxiways Alpha and Bravo and a few feet south of taxiway Juliet in this 4 PM snap. This position was as close as we could get to the entire team as it taxied toward us and still be able to get them all in one shot. The team was returning to their overnight parking location on the NevANG ramp after completing a Saturday performance at the 2019 Reno Air Races at RTS.

A small United Express CRJ is barely visible way in the background as it moves on to taxiway Alpha behind the sixth Thunderbird. I was able to get another photo in which the CRJ is taxiing along Alpha right behind the line of Thunderbirds. I forget the word when someone pops up unexpectedly behind a group having its picture taken, but that is what the CRJ looked like it was doing -- just joining right in with the group. In actuality, the CRJ was instructed to follow the T-bird team on Alpha because we were positioned so close to Bravo that the tower discontinued using Bravo for a brief period of time so we could get our pictures.
Great shot, Gary. Photo Bomb is the phrase you're talking about.
