I had the 70-300mm at 70mm for this departure but I was so close to 16R that I still had too much lens ... the next two snaps after this one only caught a portion of the Bus as it thundered past me.

I stay in that hotel in the background every time I go to Reno!

Hey, Chris, howdy. How ya been? (Grin) I'm not surprised to hear that you stay there; the Grand Sierra Resort is a huge favorite, especially with young adults. The Lex nightclub is outstanding, the new performance theater is absolutely world-class, and the buffet was remodeled not that long ago ... and it is excellent too! (I'm thinking your brother and his lady also stay there.) And the GSR makes a superb "background" to snaps taken toward the northwest corner of KRNO. At night, the sides of the GSR are all lit up, and that creates another wonderful dimension to night shots. Good to hear from you, Chris. Happy 4th to you.
