Lockheed C-130 Hercules (92-0554)
A 152nd AW "High Rollers" C-130H is captured with some barely visible spinning prop vortex swirls during its takeoff roll along runway 16R.
Comments
It doesn't happen often because humidity levels in the dry air here in the high desert are usually quite low; but on this day a very, VERY brief few droplets of rain had fallen a couple of minutes before this Hercules took off and those few raindrops were just enough to add a bit of moisture to the air which; in turn, led to the creation of the prop vortex swirls.
Another beauty Gary! Your background makes your photos breathtaking!
