Interesting pic of what I assume? is an F-104 but how about some more history.

Dear Kevin,
This is an F104 of the "Aeronautica Militare Italiana" situated in Trento as Gate Guardian.
In Trento Airport you can find an interesting museum dedicated to Gianni Caproni.
He was an Italian plane constructor who buids plane from 1910.
