Sorry for the delay.... the Vulcan XH 558 is at Finningley Airport ,, now called DSA or ROBIN HOOD Airport, about 20 minutes from my home... about once a month it is towed into the Engine Bay up the Runway and its 4 Engines are started up... one is then run up to about 70% Military Power and lets the paying Public hear the HOWL.... NOT quiet the same when it was flying... when all FOUR engines were taken to 90 % before it left the ground... look at "you tube Vulcan Howl " As a Vulcan Volunteer for 3 years I have MANY MANY images of the old Girl if you want some email me at Allan.G0IAS@Btinternet .com... thats a " ZERO " after the G, my Ham Radio callsign... this image was taken 10th October using Nikon D 500 and 500 mm Nikon PF Lens.
