BOEING 727-200 (N559PS) - LAX - MARCH 1989 was the year, my first trip to the LAX airline collectible show that spring, I brought 10x rolls of 36 and drove around the LAX side roads as the western approach to LAX was in operation. I lined up on "Hooker Hill" slightly above the Runway 6L/24R approach so I could see the whole runway. It was crazy overcast, being a newbie I didn't know it was like this often at LAX. Shown here is a Piedmont 727 N559PS ex PSA jet Ln 1533 one of the later 727s delivered to PSA Oct 10, 1979, and Mar 1989 this jet was 10 years old. One for the history books, as this jet also flew as US Air, N754US and ATA American Trans Air as N788AT so there may be other photos of this jet in diff reg photos on FA.
