BOEING 767-200 (N113DA) - KSFO - on 3 day weekends, when I had free time, I'd get a room, top floor at the Westin SFO Hotel, and pay a small fee extra to get the last room facing the Runway 1LR and looking east at 28LR arrivals and departures. The weather sucked but it was a lot of fun. N113DA at push back here with the Tug crew clearing out - The Tower top cab has been removed here, and this is the building where the new glassed off viewing deck was opened in 2019 and pre-screening. The 767 was headed for ATL- Atlanta USA.

See, these pics give us who'll likely never see this airport a view of what it's like, or was like as the case may be. Bad weather or not, who cares - it's a scene, and as well a description.Great stuff Tom.

Oz Gman - thanks and on our SFO Airline Collectible Show FB page I have a smaller photo I took back in the late 1970s or early 1980s of the SFO Terminal before they built the Top Tower Cab...so many years ago! This view now, in this photo, has already been built over. I may have to go back and stay at this Hotel to get a "before and After" pic..
