An airplane lover owns that beauty!
According to FAA records, this is a Beechcraft E18S, build in 1954, and owned by a company in Texas.
Love, love, LOVE it!! How can you not! Thank you.
The USAF flew these as C45s. When I was a wrench @ Butler Aviation at MDW, we had a contract to convert these to nosewheel configuration from Volpar, added a airstair door, gutted the interiors, etc. I personally didn't like this airplane when I flew in it in the Air Force. ALWAYS a choppy ride & LOUD.
Just to hear those Pratt & Whitney's is a real treat.
Beautiful. Another beauty from Wichita, Air Capitol of the World.
