BEAUTIFUL PLANE- I HAD MANY FLIGHTS ON THIS TYPE.
REMEMBER A FLIGHT TO BARBADOS FROM MIAMI OM AMERICAN FLOWN BY A CAPTIAN WHO HAD FLOWN NOTHING BUT 727s. NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS A PERFECT FLIGHT. IN 1994.

I miss the 727. Flew so many back in the 1980's.
727s made the coolest private jets EVER.
BACKBONE OF MANY AIRLINES. NOISE ABATEMENT CAUSED DEMISE
A beautiful aircraft.
My first Airline flight was on the short fuselage model.
nice color candid photograph. easy to hand fly all the way to minimums, very stable.
The title 'Whisperjet" was a bit of a joke - even back in the day.
My two favorite commercial aircraft. Boeing 727 and 747. Their look was so distinct and classic. National Sun King livery was great on 727. Pan American 747 was my first trip on one to London in 1971.
