ERCO Ercoupe (N73881)
Comments
Sam, I think FA gets tripped up on these Ercoupe/Aircoupe aircraft. This one appears to be one of the earlier ERCO Ercoupe types and not the later Mooney Aircoupe.
The mooney had a single tail correct? I believe this one is based at geneseo by D52..remember seeing it engineless and getting some new sheet metal there in 2014 in the restoration hangar
Sam, as I understand there were a few early Mooney built Aircoupes with the traditional double vertical stabilizer/rudder... then yes, Mooney changed the design to a single vertical stabilizer/rudder.
