Piper Aerostar (N7411S)
Comments
Another rare one! Ted Smith's Aerostar 600 from 1969, before it became a Piper. Fun to fly!
Nice shot!
Nice shot!
In 1980, while living in Santa Maria, I enjoyed working at Piper in the Technical Publications Department. One interesting Aerostar design feature is that the horizontal stabilizers and tail are identical assemblies. The tail has an added fairing. A remarkable aircraft.
