Very Kool Pic !
I can almost hear that smooth radial, T-28s have such a cool sound, and a beautiful airplane!
Loved to hear the Wisel when they put the speed break out in the break!
Looks like a tricycle undercarriage Harvard which would have made life much easier taxiing.
By far, easily my favorite prop plane. Great photo.
Agree, nothing makes the unique sounds of a radial engine, great picture
The T-28 model aircraft and I have a very unique experience. I am USAF retired/enlisted. During the Viet Nam war I was stationed in UDORN Thailand 1970-1971 at the Air America complex. During a training mission the pilot (captain) and I have the good fortune to have successfully and safely ejected from one of our T-28's due to a prop governor and engine failure. Of course the aircraft was a total loss. Every time I get to see or hear the roar of a T-28 in movies or inter-net, I smile and thank my lucky stars to be able to walk away. What a great Aircraft!!
Love that T28
Ground shaking power
