This is a Grumman G21A Goose, I know because this is the first aircraft that I ever flew on from West Palm Beach, FL to Walker's Cay, Bahamas back in 1952.

I might add that this looks like a turbine engined Goose. The one that I flew on was a piston powered A/C.

G-21G McKinnon Turbine conversion just recently out of a multi year from the shadow up rebuild.

Even with the turbos, these are beautiful little aircraft. Classic lines.
John Shearer
Got some extra dorsal fin to boot.

One of Kodiak Western's Gooses had retractable pontoons and the "luxury" interior, as opposed to the other ones, which had bench seating along the sides. Regardless, they were (despite the noise) great aircraft to fly in. They always got you there and brought you back, regardless of the weather.
Mark Kanzler
A perfect motorhome.
