The T-28B was a good basic training aircraft used by the Navy in 1960s and 1970s. Navigation, formation, acrobatics. The T28C was used for initial carrier qualifications. Six solo landings and take-off from carrier required to qualify. Formation flight back from carrier quite jubilant. Then, on to advanced training in different aircraft.
