Beechcraft 35 Bonanza (N2132L)
Comments
My father bought this plane brand new from the factory in 1976, he was the original first owner. When I was a kid we flew this plane all over the United States. From our home base in New Jersey to all over, Arizona Nevada Florida Vermont we went everywhere on this plane, what a beautiful plane. Even I was only a kid I was flying this plane my father taught me how to fly it.
It's had a 550 turbo normalized put in her. All Garmin Glass. Great plane 190 kts true.
I remember one time we were flying this plane in 1977 and we were going to land in Las Vegas or Kansas somewhere I don't remember exactly and one of the wheels wouldn't come down I think on the right wing. We were only getting two green lights. I was 12 years old. And the test was you push the button on the light and it would light up to make sure the bulb was good and I didn't understand that so I pushed it and I told my father just land it's good the green light is on and he started laughing and he said it's because you're pushing it in LOL. He end up putting the wheels up and then he put it back down and then all three of them all went down and all three lights came on. So I think that one wheel on the right wing got stuck that one time. Something I've always thought about when I see this plane for some reason. We always wondered if the wheel was down or not that time.
