Idk. How come some DC-10s have the center gear in between and some don't?

DC10-30's have the center gear, and DC10-10's do not...

Oh yeah. Also how come this one in this pic looks SO much bigger than all the other DC-10s? (-10s AND -30s) it just looks so much bigger than all of the other ones.
