— — - Stark contrast to last weekends weather! Major system hitting Southwestern Ontario and points East with rain, freezing rain, ice pellets etc. Horrible day for spotting. Here the ploughs do their thing on YYZs runway 05/23 before the mid-afternoon rush of heavies from Europe. Alternating runways like this all day made for a rough day for ATC and pilots alike. Many inbound aircraft put into holding patterns before landing and a slushy touchdown when they finally did. Many cancelled flights today and tomorrow!br /April 14th, 2018

Well I hope that you guys get better weather soon. We went to the airport earlier and they have to deal with strong winds today.

Interesting and I had never seen those snow removal equipment, which I learned that Hagie from Iowa manufactures. Hagie entered a joint venture with John Deere (Deere Co.) a few years ago.
