UVair Jet Fuel Pricing Now Integrated in FlightAware
Las Vegas (Oct. 21, 2013) - UVair®, the fueling division of Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. announced that it has reached an exclusive agreement with FlightAware to integrate customer-specific UVair jet fuel pricing into flightaware.com. Demos of the free tool will be available in Universal® exhibit #C11016 and FlightAware exhibit #C9836 at NBAA2013 in Las Vegas.
"What's unique about this agreement is the ability for members of the UVair Fuel Program to view their own real-time jet fuel prices on FlightAware, rather than the FBO's posted retail price," said Greg Cox, Senior Vice President, UVair. "Customers then have the ability to submit a fuel release. We're excited that together with FlightAware we can now offer our card members an additional tool to access and order UVair fuel."
The service is free for all members of the UVair Fuel Program. To access, FlightAware users simply search for an ICAO, then click the FBO's tab. There, they can login to their UVair account. If they don't already have a UVair account, they can follow the login link to join the program. There are no fees to join the program. Alternatively, operators can join by visiting http://www.uvair.com/save/.
