Questions & Answers

How can I get a report for an aircraft that is not available for public tracking (blocked)?
To track a blocked aircraft, you must be the owner or operator and it must be selectively unblocked through a FlightAware Global subscription.
What data is available in the Custom Reports offerings?
Data Reports products have access to historical flight data from 2005. View the Data Reports Data Menu for specific data fields.
Are blocked flights shown in Custom Reports?
Flights that are blocked by their operators are indicated with the prefix BLK and the aircraft identification is assigned a unique BLK id (e.g., BLK42) that is used consistently throughout to identify that aircraft. The aircraft type is displayed as BLK.

If you are the owner of a blocked aircraft, we can provide aircraft identification data for the blocked tail if you can provide proof of ownership of the blocked aircraft.
