Aeroflot to transfer 54 SSJ100 jets to Rossiya

Russian flag carrier Aeroflot is transferring its all Russian-made Sukhoi Superjets (SSJ100) to its subsidiary Rossiya Airlines. With this operation, Rossiya adds 54 SSJ100 jets to its fleet. Upon the arrival of new SSJ100s, Rossiya will also take over short-haul routes from Aeroflot. Rossiya currently operates 54 jets from Airbus and Boeing (20 A319-100, 6 A320-200, 9 B737-800, 9 B747-400, 5 B777-300, and 5 B777-300ER). (www.airlinerwatch.com) More...
