Southwest Airlines will have 12 new daily flights from MIA. Here are the details

Nearly a month after Southwest Airlines announced flights will be coming to the Miami International Airport for the first time, the airline has provided the details. Starting Nov. 15, Southwest Airlines will have daily flights from MIA to Baltimore, Chicago through Midway Airport, Houston through Hobby Airport and Tampa, the airline announced on Thursday. Miami International goes against the grain of southwest destinations because of the ground time required in operations. Now with reduced flights everywhere, that is not so evident.

i wish them well..looks like southwest is forging ahead with expansion,from their original idea of "folksy" service,small town appeal, and fill in route structure..their prices were never cheaper than other carriers,akthough lots of folks believed that..since aa,dl,ua are cutting back and cutting people,and wn has not yet done that,they must have a "special" plan..
