Over the past decade, global airlines have committed to a lot of airplanes. Perhaps too many. Is it possible the bubble might burst soon? Uncertainty over a Boeing jet and apprehension about the global economy hover over the aircraft industry as it prepares for next week’s Paris Air Show. The 70s,80s and 90s were years of huge growth for Boeing. No one ever thought Boeing would find itself in this mess. I think years of unparalled success became an impediment to new designs instead of endlessly grindining out 737. Sloppiness at Boeing and clients fed up with the same old, same old. It's time for a change, at the top.
