Qantas expects final purchase proposals for Sydney-London jets from Airbus, Boeing by Aug

Qantas Airways Ltd has asked Airbus SE and Boeing Co to present their "best and final offer" for planes capable of flying 21-hours non-stop from Sydney to London by August, the airline's chief executive said on Monday. the new 777, still in development, is designed to make this flight with cargo and full passengers, but with larger numbers than any airbus 350-900 04 airbus 350-1000 modified version. Quantas may be deciding how many passengers they can attract and therby fill up the new Boeing 777. That may be the crux of the debate within quantas...
