British Airways to paint G-BNLY in the Negus livery

British Airways is planning to paint its Boeing 747-436 G-BNLY (msn 27090) (above) in the original 1973 livery created by design firm Negus and Negus (below). Boeing 707 G-AXXY was the first aircraft to appear in this Negus livery in September 1973. BOAC and BEA merged on April 1, 1974 to form British Airways. G-BNLY is expected to enter the IAC Limited facility today at Dublin according to Michael Kelly and will emerge from the paint shop in the Negus design. (worldairlinenews.com) More...
